As of mid April 2014, full 4-gen Dosage figures are provided at the SIM pages for
5x lineages, including hypomates, so I thought this SimDosage app was probably no
longer of relevance.

However, you can't easily [ but see HERE and HERE ] hypomate for Dosage in the Sim unless you have already bought the relevant shares !!
So maybe this app still has relevance.

With that in mind, in August 2014 I completed an updated ChefTable and also took a new view on the SireList. Whilst the SireList has not been updated in its number of sires, I have removed all the country tags from the file. If you have used this app then you will realise the significance of this.

Download the latest ChefTable & SireList bundle HERE - then unzip the files and overwrite the previous versions.
The ChefTable is updated at Oct 5th 2015 with new 224th Chef CAPE CROSS.
Do READ the ReadMe file if you haven't already !!!

Denovo's SimDosage Program Files

The SimDosage Tool displays the 3-generation lineage of any SIM horse a-la-PedigreeQuery.com and in addition calculates and displays its SimDosage (based on the 3-gen sire information the SIM provides) as well as CD and DI.

It will also calculate and display SimDosage, CD and DI for your Hypomates.

A 4-gen version may eventually become available.

Read about installation & usage HERE

1) Download and install the original full v0.94 installation - Note: If you experience difficulties installing the v0.94 download whereby an initial reboot to update system file MSVCRT.DLL fails to install the file then refer to the procedure at the foot of this page

2) Download the program file SimDosage v0-95-05.exe and copy it to your SimDosage folder (should be at ..\Program Files\SimDosage unless you changed the installation location).

3) Redirect any shortcuts to point to the new version rather than v0.94.2

4) Download the latest SimDosage ChefTable & SireList bundle then unzip the files ChefTable and SD_SireList, overwriting the previous versions in C:\ENR.

5) The Tool also requires a 'breeding.txt' file in the folder C:\ENR. This was originally to be able to display the lineage and dosage for any then-current SIM horse by ID no, but the app still currently requires a file in the folder C:\ENR or it will complain and quit.
Use the last-produced (week 5156) - download it HERE and unzip it into C:\ENR.

RE: v0.94 FULL PROGRAM INSTALLATION DIFFICULTIES --- INSTRUCTIONS FOR
INSTALLING SIMDOSAGE where system file MSVCRT.DLL needs to be updated

1) Locate the installation file downloaded from the link above: SimDosage v0-94 RELEASE.exe

2) Right click on the filename and choose Extract to Folder... (should be 3rd option down). This will extract all the installation files into a folder SimDosage v0-94 RELEASE within the folder you are currently in.

3) Open the folder - there are 4 files

4) Replace the file SETUP.LST with this one (unzip it first)

5) Run setup.exe -- this time when you are asked if you want to update your system files, when you click OK, you should get a screen asking if you want to reboot now. Do it !!

6) After reboot, the system files should be in place, and you can then run setup AGAIN, when the program should be installed correctly.

7) Follow the instructions for downloading & placing the 3 files SimDosage v0-95-05.exe, ChefTable and SD_SireList given above.

8) Make sure you have the latest breeding.txt file in your folder C:\ENR

9) Run SimDosage v0-95-05.exe
